LCD displays used in digital signage applications offer the following benefits:

• Less affected by surrounding light, therefore eliminating the glare associated with Plasma displays

• Not prone to screen "burn-in"

• Use substantially less electricity

Plasma displays used in digital signage applications offer the following benefits:

• Often priced less than comparable LCD screens

• Offer wider viewing angles than LCD screens (up to 160° viewing)

• Better picture with fast moving videos

LCD & DLP projectors used in digital signage applications offer the following benefits:

• Ability to display large format videos over 65"

• Much more cost-effective than larger plasma or lcd screens

• Require less power than both lcd and plasma displays
